About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Shopify & WordPress Developer to create, customize, and maintain high-performing websites. You’ll work on custom themes, plugins, and integrations, ensuring exceptional functionality, user experience, and SEO optimization. This role is ideal for someone with strong coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering tailored web solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

- ◉ Develop and customize websites using Shopify and WordPress, ensuring high-quality performance and functionality.
- ◉ Write and modify custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid) to create tailored solutions for clients.
- ◉ Design and implement custom themes, plugins, and templates to meet unique business needs.
- ◉ Optimize websites for performance, user experience, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- ◉ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance challenges.
- ◉ Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
- ◉ Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development and e-commerce.
- ◉ Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- ◉ Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in Shopify and WordPress development.
- ◉ A strong portfolio showcasing custom-built themes and coding projects.
- ◉ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- ◉ Expertise in Shopify Liquid and WordPress theme/plugin development.
- ◉ Familiarity with APIs, version control systems (e.g., Git), and third-party integrations.
- ◉ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- ◉ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- ◉ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- ◉ Willingness to work during EST time zone (Bd time, 6 PM – 3 AM) office hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ◉ Experience with development for Shopify or WordPress.
- ◉ Approved items in Envato marketplace will get preference.
- ◉ Knowledge of SEO principles and user experience (UX) best practices.
